The Big Three
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008Normally, I wouldn't just swipe someone else's crap and stick it on here, but this was so damn funny (read:true) I couldn't help it.

Thanks to this dude, via Boing Boing. And Detroit, for making it possible, those d-bags.
Comments:
only agree half :)
sure the Big 3 carry a huge part of the blame, but why bailing out (and buying) Banks and putting a 700b US$ backup plan, for people who spoiled the WORLD economy due to their HIGH RISK games, and a lousy 34b Loan to the car makers gives so much trouble ???
Dont get me wrong, the Big3 made huge mistakes (cashing on trucks, but forgetting to invest and research for the future, signing deals with the UAW without hard negotiations, accepting that their man/hour costs nearly double the one of (unorganized) Toyota ???
Why does Toyotas sales in the US decrease only be half of what the big3 sales declined ? Value for Money ???
anyway.. to much serious thinking for 3 caipirinhas on Phuket Beach :)

Oh, make no mistake - the Banks can kiss my ass. Bailing them out pisses me off, and buying them only pisses me off less. The screwed up royally, but letting them sink only screws our economy worse.
But the car makers - oh, that's a whole 'nother story. These 'tards have been building GARBAGE for years and whining about losing sales to the imports. Of course, they never responded by actually building better vehicles, they just pissed and moaned about it. Now they want us to bail them out? GM has been a clueless Titanic for years, and Dodge annoys by building great looking and performing cars that don't last as long as the loan to pay for them.
Ford's the only one that's worth half a crap. The rest can blow me.
